How many cylinders does the 1988 landcruiser have. Is it a V8 or a V6

Its a huge in-line 6 cylinder and its a great motor just like many in-line were.

its surely a V6

the v8 is not that old in the toyota landcruiser..

so 1988 is surely a V6

V8. I believe it is the 4700cc, but it could still be the 4500cc. Both are V8s. Too bad, because the straight six they used in the 70s and 80s was bulletproof.

The people above aren't sure about their answers but I can tell you with confidence that it has a 4.0L I6.
