Do they even need to kill the kangaroos?? Can they just take the hops from live kangaroos? If so, what do they do with kangaroos with no hops left?

Since you only need the legs, they don't have to be killed. Though it would be kind of silly seeing the outback filled with amputee kangaroos in wheelchairs. They'd constantly be getting stuck in rabbit holes.

That depends entiretly on the conditon of the kangaroo, you must consider the hop to height/distance ration to determine this.

It is a very complex formula, much to difficult to explain here.

Someone tried putting it on wikipedia, but their servers could not handle it due to the size and complexity.

Um, hops are like wheat and grow in the ground. Kangaroos? Not sure where that came from. G'day mate! :)

Good one. Probably about the same number of shoo-flies needed for a Shoo-fly pie. Or grasshoppers for a grasshopper pie.
