I think we need an internationally accepted guide so scientists don't waste their time on work that would be rejected as nonsense because it conflicts with the bible.

Conflicts with the Bible?!! One of the biggest conflicts is the authenticity of a bible. I'll take scientific theory over a book that has been translated over and over and was put together by men trying to control the masses. You can wish in one hand and crap in the other. See which one fills first.

The operative words here are "theories/principles", meaning exactly that. When scientists come up with some real proof that a big bang from nothingness created everything, then maybe christians will listen. Until then, its just the big bang theory verses the theory that there is a higher intelligence that created us. Christianity isn't holding back any scientific studies, science just hasn't been able to come up with more than a possible big bang.

And just for the record, the old testament said the earth was round (actual term used was orb) long before Galileo was born.

The Big Bang, Galileo was vilified by the Catholic Church for teaching that the world wasn't flat, gravity, the realization that light travels as both a wave and a stream of particles, etc.

Why would we want scientists to not work on things that contradict religious dogma? Would ignorance be a better option?....NO!!!!

Scientists will never submit to such censorship. Science is about furthering knowledge and allowing anything to be possible (so long as it can be backed with good evidence); if that means saying something that conflicts with religion, then the close-minded devout should cover their ears and stay in their churches.

Well not just evolution, but carbon dating proves that the world is Billions of years old, not thousands. We know that the human body cannot live for more than around 115 years (and thats with today's medical advanced) yet the bible talks about Moses (I think) living for much more than that. The story of Noah's ark doesn't make any scientific sense, but I guess it can't be contradicted by anything we know scientifically.

Thats all I know of right now.

Every scientific discipline, if analyzed deeply enough, will lead to conflicts with the bible. The bible only thrives in a vacuum of ignorance.

Are you asking from a historical perspective or a modern one. Electricity was considered magic, Astronomy was considered heresy, I know there are a lot more, but those are the first to come to mind.

Hahaha. Good luck getting any scientist to listen to that.

First of all, evolution has many holes in it, and there are practically a countless amount of scientists who oppose that theory. In reality it is nothing more than a hypothesis.

Second, I take issue with your assertion that evolution contradicts the Bible. God told Adam that he made him from the dirt and that his body would return to dirt when he died.
