Shake the bottle carefully. If it is watery, then you don't have fish oil. You have fish sauce.

Fish sauce is used in Vietnamese dishes and dipping sauces to add saltiness and depth of flavor. It has a pungent, strong aroma. Use it sparingly.

Is it fish oil in a small bottle? If yes, it is a dietary supplement "Omega 3".

If it is in a bigger bottle it maybe fish sauce. Fish sauce is used in Thai food such as Pad Thai.
