James 1:26If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Setting aside any Bible issues, a true religion:
Believes in obeying the law, even the inconvenient ones, such as speed limits when late for work;
Believes in paying taxes, even though there are many ways they could avoid them, as many religions do;
Believes in keeping their word, such as to the IRS that they will not promote politics in the church, and they actually mean it;
Teaches their youth that waiting until marriage is preferable to using protection, and for the most part, the youths actually believe it....As a result, they have the lowest rates of out-of-wedlock births and STDs....Yes, there is the occasional ones who would rather have their fun now than wait, but there are far more who choose to wait;
Treats their youth with respect, not just "do what you're told!";
Teaches their youths side by side with the adults, the Bible as a whole, and not just Bible stories....The very young may not understand what they are being taught, but by the time you reach the age of understanding, they have a good basic knowledge of the scriptures;
Have congregations never get so large that the individual gets lost in the crowd and since everyone is taught the same, it is easy to start a new congregation, with a set of elders;
Has members who know all other members, whether in their congregation, their city, or their county....When Katrina happened, they made sure everyone living in New Orleans could be found in Texas, with every individual accounted for;
Believes their church Halls should compliment a neighborhood, and not overwhelm it, so they are small and don’t include a lot of expensive decorative features....Each church can hold up to four congregations;
Encourage all their members to read the whole Bible and submit their thoughts to see whether the religion could be following God’s Word better;
Can have every member, over the age of 12 answer the following question without just referring to a secular holiday in May:
WHAT DAY DO YOU OBSERVE THE MEMORIAL ON?

Religion, sometimes people get to into the religious part of Christianity and forget about the relationship part. I mean, what's the use of following something if you don't believe in what your following. So, if you don't mind me saying throw away the religious part of Christianity and remember that it's first and foremost a relationship with the one true God.

What does the Bible really teach about religion? There is a true religion. True Christians = True religion. All of their members live their lives honestly in every way. They use the Bible to guide them through this wicked system of things.

Islam because I know its original teachings are well-guarded by rigorous orthodoxy since 1400 years ago. For instance, we dont have to have our own "Council of Nicaea" to decide what to believe, which book (i.e. gospels) to read and all. Thus, I have no doubt that I'm on the right path - the path of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
God knows best.
Peace and Love.

There are no true religions.All religions are created by men for selfish ends.All religions cheat people by promising heaven or hell - which does not exist.Today religions are source of lucrative practies for earning money.
Religions do have a moral value but today that is also lost.. because religious centers have become centers of corruption..

Forget religion.
Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
Christ is the tree of life.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
God's Word is not a religion but a reality.
