Historicaly it is called "high church" or "low church", The proper traditional churches such as in a cathedral would place it high and to the left. The Bible would be displayed in the center. Maybe a songleader's pulpit a bit smaller to the right. In the early church there were always two witnesses (symbolicly).

Baptists (low church) usualy place it on a platform but more to the level as the people, also in the center as the message is supposed to be from God.

Do you mean pulpit as in: "the clerical profession; the ministry" or "a platform or raised structure in a church, from which the sermon is delivered or the service is conducted"?

Why do you ask? I'm not aware of one. A pulpit is just something you stand behind to talk.
