If you eat healtier and cut calories you can loose weight. You won't be in good physical shape, but you can loose weight, takes a lot longer this way alone.

You see, the thing is that any amount of calories people eat, they will have to lose sooner or later. If you're a couch potato, you should eat less calories, but you still have to exercise because you eat. You have to find the proper balance so that you burn as many calories as you consume. In this way, no diet can get you to lose weight without the proper amount of exercise.

Now, you also should see that simply not eating isn't an option, either. You don't even have to walk to burn calories. Just moving, thinking, breathing, and anything that requires you heart to pump will take calories, and sooner or later you will have to walk in some way. It's the fuel that keeps you alive. But people get so hungry so often that they cannot survive without eating enough to require exercise. Sure, hunger pills and shakes can control these cravings, but they are so big of a risk that many people have died using them because they don't consume enough calories and become anorexic when they stop using them. DON'T USE HUNGER SHAKES or PILLS!!!!

So, simply put, you need exercise no matter what you eat or how you eat it. There's no other way for you to burn enough calories to maintain a proper balance, and yes, you must eat according to your cravings in order to be satisfied and not put yourself in serious health risk.

If you don't exercise, you might lose pounds, however very slowly, but you won't lose the inches that is really desired when trying to lose weight.

Drink lots of water and go out for a long walk every day and eat right. Enjoy the walks, and try to include some inclines.

Put on some soothing music that has a steady beat to pace yourself, but definately go outside. You will most likely grow to love that time with yourself as you get healthier.

Yes you can get MUCH smaller by eating healhier and less calories.

I was challenged to do so by a co-worker who knew I worked out 4-5 hours a day without results ... he challenged me to join "Weight Watchers" and follow the program without exercising.

The Weight Watcher councelor urged me to exercise, but I was on a mission to prove my co-worker WRONG. . . He was RIGHT. I lost an average of two and a half pounds a week --- 1/2 pound more than the others. However, after I lost 10% of my original weight, I included serious weight lifting and the diet ... I've never looked soooooo good.

I kept the pounds mostly off ... however, I quit smoking last year and am recovering from the weight I put on (20 lbs) from that jolt to my body. I have confidence I'll do it by May of this year. Again, I've found myself over exercising, and having to cold-turkey quit exercising and focus on diet. It's working, I'm giving up 1.5 pounds a week since I stopped exercising.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

The only way to lose weight is to eat less calories than you burn off in the course of the day. Get a pedometer thing if you absolutely don't want to exercise, my sister swears by it, you will be amazed how far you walk just in the normal course of your day then you should be able to work out how many calories you are burning off and adjust your eating accordingly.

You do not need to count your calories as long as your staying active and eating healthy. I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks all from eating half the amount of what I normally eat and working out 5 days a week.

Yes, you can lose some weight ... but for the best benefits to yourself .. you REALLY SHOULD Exercise with a better diet and eating less. That way, not only is your body in better shape, you will be exchanging fat mass for muscle mass (a better thing) as well as being able to do more and not be so fatigued all the time.

You really need to exercise but healthy eating is very helpful. Just 20 minutes of walking everyday is a good start if you don’t have a lot of time. 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening.

By eating less you will lose fat and muscle. If you lose muscle, which burn lots and lots of calories, you will slow down your basal metabolic rate ie calories that you burn when you're not doing anything at all, making it gradually harder and harder to lose weight. If you exercise you will maintain or increase your muscle mass, meaning you will speed up the rate at which you burn calories.

Ultimately, you will lose weight if you eat less, however you will keep the weight off if you exercise too
