I would suggest instead of advertising him on the "net" or in newspapers where you can't be sure who will take him or what kind of home he'll get taht you contact a Great Dane Rescue near you. They are wonderful at finding good safe homes for the dogs/pups they take in and they have excellant Dane knowledge.

Try to find a Great Dane rescue in your area. Do a web search. If they can't take him right away they might at least let you post him on their web site. Rescues make sure that the dogs go to appropriate homes.

Where do you live? You can call your vet and see if they know of anyone wanting a great dane or you can check into great dane rescue groups. They will place him in a good home. Good luck.

you can advertise in your local newspaper, but if you want a good home for them [and i'm sure you do], i would put "good home needed" and i would check their home to make sure it's suitable. also, tell your local humane center that if anyone asks about a puppy, or great dane, to notify you
hope it works out for you

Why on earth did you get a dog at all if you have a small place that is rented, let alone a Great Dane?

What area do you live in? Have you tried to reach the breeder and see if they would take it back?

There is nothing much to do, you will have to let her go, or become poor, I'm sorry!

Hi,
Take him to a few pet shops and explain the situation to them. One of the pet shops are sure to help you.
Or take him to a animal shelter.
