It really depends on what type of anemia you have. If you were diagnosed today, weren't you told?? And weren't you also told what to do about it? Don't follow any advice but this which comes from a nurse: Speak to your doctor and find out what type you have and what & how much your doctor recommends you take as a supplement.
Regarding the warning from "badkitty" concerning iron supplement. If what you have is iron deficiency anemia, all the B complex in the world won't correct that. You'll have to take iron but you can counteract the constipating effects by increasing your fiber and water intake.

there are several different types of anemia. actually anemia is just a symptom from some greater underlying cause. so it depends on what's causing your anemia what steps you should take. your doctor should have told you and if he didn't call his office back up and ask.
and as a side note taking iron will only help if you're anemic due to low iron. this is just one of many causes.

Take the iron supplement of slo-fe, they sell it in any pharmacy. I use to have to take it when I was pregnant, it lets you get extra iron, but has a stool softener to keep you from getting constipated. Also eating eggs, spinach, leafy green veggies, red meat, and nuts can help to give you extra iron, oh and also beans, but you might want to avoid those.

Take a multivitamin everyday. Or take b-complex vitamins. Don't take iron pills. They are harsh on the stomach and will make you constipated.
