Would you recommend calling ahead to confirm my reservation?

probably, i forgot to do that on my last vacation, ruined the whole day because i ended up spending 4 hours trying to sort it out with the staff.

No need for a reservation, there is plenty of room for all that choose it's easy path.

there is no need to call.
God has already made the reservations for you.
