I think what is meant by all we need is love, is - even if things are tough and may seem hopeless, we are not alone. Someone is there to support us at least emotionally and with us to get through. that could be the love of significant other, friend, family. At the same time, we could have everything else in life and be utterly alone and no one really caring what we did or what happened to us and be completely depressed and miserable

All I need is a fabulous advertising career, a gorgeous apartment, a circle of equally independent and successful girlfriends, a sporty little hatchback, and occasional sex with a hot male friend. Give me these things and I will be a fulfilled woman.

it certainly is true, if you are in love and have a partner you can wear said partner as a dashing wrap, pimp them out to earn you money and as for a house- they can get off their sexy butts and build you one. voila. love = partner = multi uses!!

i understand what you mean, but when you are in love, you feel like you can take anything on with your partner. its not true, but its kinda metaphorical. its just they way a person feels at that moment, but i get what u mean and you're right..

I've found in life that love isn't enough. sadly. there are too many other factors. You amy never stop loving someone but it doesn't mean they will be in your life forever.
