The first doors says -

Heaven - This is the one you've been taught about in the bible. The one from your religion. The one you've expected and believed in your entire life. The one you've lived a pure life in order to gain admittance to.

The second door says -

Heaven - This is the heaven I have always intended for you. The heaven that has never been written about, or discussed, or advertised to man. And ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome.

Both doors are signed "God" There is no denying they are authentic.

If you choose the first, you will obviously get what you've believed in your entire life. If you choose the second it means you're willing to abandon a lifetime of faith and certainty, and take a chance. Either choice is valid.

So which would you choose?

Is this Stephen King? What a story line. It sounds according to your story line that either way I can't lose, because as you say I have lived a pure life. If that is all it takes then all Christians will go to Heaven regardless of the door to chose because at least we spent our lives giving thought to God, unlike the atheists who says he doesn't believe. I would chose the first. Because The Bible is God's Word.

Door number one.

Because we choose while we are alive on this earth, not after we are dead.

The heaven that I have awaiting for me is not because I have lived a pure life, quite the opposite frankly.

The heaven that I have awaitng me is because Jesus Christ paid the price for my admittance and I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth!

Probably door #2 because of that one line about "this is the heaven I have always intended for you."

I think it's safe to assume that God knows what's good for me better than I do.

The second, because the first assumed I was a follower of the Bible, which I am not. Secondly in my faith there is no heaven or hell, there is only.... the summer land, where we go to have peace. To me that is the reward for a life well lived, peace.

The first door is proposed by the prophets, whom God spoke to.
The second is proposed by you, who are not a prophet.
There's a reason why our book is 30 centuries old.

God's word is infallible and Truth.
God's Word says that:
not everyone who calls Jesus "Lord" will be allowed into heaven. Loving the Lord and doing His will.
liars, fornicators, thieves, etc will not allowed entrance into heaven. These two points makes the second door invalid if it allows everyone, contrary to His Word.

I would choose door #2 The one we were always attended for, even if it's the last choice I ever get to make.

The one on the right.

I'd choose the second one.

My God is not written about, or spoken of. The One is a being beyond words or thoughts. I would rather trust a God who is totally unknowable than a God that can be summarized in a book, no matter how big it is and how small the type.

But that's just me. :-)

I would go with the second heaven, that was meant for us, from the beginning. Even though I be terrified.
