When I talk to the guy I like I get really nervous and cant always think of things to say and there are those akward silences.. what should I say??? I'm horrible at conversations with new people pleasee helpp.

OMG GIRL I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!!
What i do usually is I plan out some conversations every night so that i dont blank out the next day. Here are some that i've used...
"Hey do you have Mr. Someteacher?"
"Oooh, i really like your shirt!"
"Did you get a haircut? It looks good on you."
"Have you ever played that Guitar Hero game?"
These worked for me pretty good and i think he knows i like him now :) Good Luck!

to plan something to talk is quite boring and static
also it may end up u run out to a blank end
haha
i prefer natural conversation
try to to him like u talk to ur friends
n go with the flow..
usually work for me
unless the guy is a shy person
oh! elaboration of ideas is important
make conversation interesting n intelectual

Don't worry about what you say. ASK him questions instead. Find out what his likes and dislikes are. Ask him about his favorite food, music, and hobbies. It's a good way to learn about him and it doesn't make you come across as self-absorbed.

Iraqi oil is neither Iraqi or oil.....discuss. Just talk about basic things. People like to talk about themselves. Something I've learned at college and psychology. Don't ask him questions that he can answer with a simple yes or no. Ask him questions so that he has to explain his answer....so tell me what your family is like? Get it?

Get the local paper and read the first few pages, so you know about some of the news happening in your area. Bring up a couple of topics in the paper and ask (ASK) him what he know about some of it. He will liked it that you ask his opinion and if he does not know you can tell him what you read and then ASK him what he thinks about it. The biggest thing is to get him talking about anything but himself.

guys like it when girls are straight forward. just tell him how nervous you are!!! guys also don't like it when you keep talking. just b'cuz it seems like an awkward silence to you, doesn't mean it's an awkward silence for him.
