This guy has asked me to hang out with him on the weekend and after work. We get along great and have common interests. I didn't really know him that well at the time. My question is does a guy (who i happen to work with)ask me to hang out just to be friends or is there more to it?Keep in mind i didn't really know him that well at the time.And please i don't want any lectures about workplace relationships.

If he asked you to hang with him when he barely knew you, then he probably wants to be more than just friends. If your bold you could ask him if you guys are "going out" or something. You can also tell his intentions by his physical actions and the way he talks to you. Does your conversations get intimate or flirty (even if it seems like he's joking). Does he touch you alot or smile alot?

The only real way to finding out is to just ask him. Till then you will be just wondering. It doesn't hurt to ask.
