Nature's Miracle! It's an enzyme cleaner that you can get at a pet food store. It does not 'cover up' the smell....it eleminates it. Just follow the directions.

I'm assuming the rooms carpeted since it's retaining the smell of puppy accidents. In this case, to treat the room I would sprinkle a box of bi-carbonate of soda across the carpet(dry carpet) leave for several hours or overnight, the bi-carb will help absorb and nuetralize the smell, it can be easily vacummed up and as it's a natural product shouldn't harm anything and a box only costs a little over a dollar, so it's cheap to use.

There is a product called Nature's Miracle. It works with enzymes. YOu can get it at any pet store. It is safe for all animals and you can use it in a carpet shampooer or as a laundry detergent, or just full strength. It works great. If you need help finding all the spots, get a black light bulb, any kind, and the pee will glow so you can make sure you got it all. Good luck!

Use some Lysol or maybe the glade wisp. Try having a automatic air freshener all the time, like the ones you plug into your outlets. Also after the puppy is potty trained try getting your carpets cleaned professionally. But make sure you wait until he or she is completely potty trained. This includes after their spaying/neutering. Hope this helps.

well on hard floors i guess your ok but carpets are tuff. even when you cant smell it the puppy can and the cycle will continue. best to crate the pup when it cant be with you. and limit crate time till he is older . you need to be home a lot.my best set up ever was the doggie door and fenced yard... house trains in one day !! and crate when i'm out and bed time.i work at home , so if you cant try and get home for lunchtime so he can have a toilet break:)

1. soak up as much as the urine as possible

2. sprinkle baking soda on the area and leave it 2 hours or overnight

3. vaccum

4. Next add 2 cups of white vinegar to 1 gallon of water, and wash the area deeply and well. The smell of vinegar will disappear as it evaporates.

Do not use cleaners which have ammonia, since ammonia smells somewhat like urine to animals.

go to your local pet store, they have all kinds of good smelling powders and shampoos if you have carpet. if not get a cleaner that smells good, mop w/bleach and water first, then again with the cleaner, open windows for a couple of hours. also w/a puppy if you are training him to go outside, you should take him out 5 min after he eats so he can begin learning to go out.

Your local pet store should have an enzymatic deodorizer in stock. It has biochemical agents that will "digest" the odor causing bacteria in it. You just saturate the soiled spots and let it dry. I have an old cat that has "accidents", the stuff will work. Ask a store clerk where to find it.
