Study the field of Semiotics - science of body language. Liars frequently make certain facial expressions, gestures, or changes in demeanor. It's not 100% effective, but it can be more accurate than a lie-detector test.
It's easiest if you know the person is a psychopath. You can tell they lie because their mouth is moving.

I lie. i was once told that i lie like a convict and it saved my life. sometimes it is hard. but only a liar can tell if someone else is lying.

i lie allot and I'm damn good at it but i can tell by how fast that persons breathing changed and by their eyes or if they swallow b4 answering or if they give you a "are you serious?" smirk.. lol

They cant make eye contact and become all fidgety and stuff, they just act different to normal
