It should be noted that most cab drivers are not employees, they are independent, renting their cars for $400 to $1000 a week, depending on the city. Here in Kansas City it's $450 a week. But, there are regulations that they must meet to obatin a cab driver's business license.

They were talking about it on the radio today. It is an interpretation. Muslims are not allowed to drink alcohol and they believe dog saliva is dirty. So they are interpreting that they do not have to help other people transport them. They are performing a public licensed job. If they do not want to be around those items they should not do that job. Same with any religion and job. If the job has elements that are contrary to your religion do not take the job. Employers are not obligated to accommodate your religion. We cannot have 2/3rds of the taxi drivers refuse to take passengers.

You forgot "some".

This is silly. They should provide service, unless the dog is filthy, or the person is drunk or something like that.
