Why is it when some parents of a home schooler or public schooler say that the other always "hates" the other? (If you know what I mean).
But to me it seems like it's the parents are the ones "hating each other", the kids are the ones who seem to get along fine.

Shouldn't us parents learn a bit form our kids and get along?

I think society has always been a bit that way. Even when I was a kid, and I am 53 years old now, if kids didn't get along, you could usually trace the problem back to the parents.

Maybe this is because we parents have 'made up our minds' about things and are less susceptible to change. Kids are accepting and willing to enjoy each other what ever the social status or inclination. You are right - parents are the ones with 'hang ups' about this or that kind of education.

I went to boarding school for 5 years. In England that is a privilege, whereas boarding school in the States is mostly for the rebel/mischievous students of rich parents who see no alternative, ie it is rather a stigmatizing thing to say that a person went to boarding school. Enlgish baording schools are often much more successful in the educational process.

Different places have different opinions about stuff and it is the adults who have made up their minds and are willing to spout off about their differing opinions. Kids just like to play!

Let's just agree to disagree sometimes and do it kindly,..

i agree, people should just get along. As for me...i dont hate anyone, and i dont dislike people based on whether they home school or send their kids to public school, i judge people on who they are.
