My wife and the suprise visitor.....
Ill explain.
My wife lived in Canda. I lived in Texas. Due to Immigration and different claims as to how things had to be done, the wedding was in Texas. We both would have prefered Canada but as we would reside in Texas, we had to do it here.
We did everything ourselves and loved picking up people at the airports, (neither was close to us so the cost of the flights dictated who arrived where). England and Canada both had several people arrive. .. BUT Canada had one suprise guest....
Snow... LOTS of it. A Canada chill brought 15 inches of snow overnight. Literaly.
The day before we were in shorts setting up the hall. We had dinner with all our guests at a local restraunt then at about 2 in the morning I woke up to banging on my BACK door. The snow was coming in so hard and heavy that it broke a tree and a branch from it was whacking the back door.
The day was perfect weather, cold enough to keep the snow on the ground, but warm enough that jackets were not needed.
NOTHING compares to having your guests hold you down while your new father in law shoves snow down your tux. lol
We couldnt make it to Canada for our wedding, but Canada came to us.

It'd have to either be me putting the ring on the wrong hand, my father in law crying ( he married us) or my hubby doing the "booty" dance with a pink fuzzy toilet seat cover we got for a gift at the reception. Although the more I think about it is the kiss and hearing my father in law announcing us, that was pretty awesome

My day was perfect, but the best moment was after the kiss, my normally, very poised husband, completely lost it and cried. We hugged for at least 2 minutes, then kissed again. It was very sweet. Later he surprised me by saying the whole ceremony and party was a great idea. (He didnt want to have a big deal wedding-even though we only had 50 guests, but to him that was extravagent (whole wedding was 3K))

how happy my husband was. I never saw him smile more in his life then I did on our wedding day. he was soooo sweet too. he got my drinks and my food for me, he danced beautifully even though he hates it and he even started to cry when his mom and dad danced together (they have been divorced since he was 8) then at the hotel he picked me up and carried me in and I wasnt feelign well so he just lied there and cuddled with me until I felt better. it was the greatest day of our lives and we'll never forget how unperfectly perfect it was.
oh...and the look on his face when he saw me walk down the aisle. we had a small wedding, but I had such a beautiful dress and he was just stunned.

I was still so concerned about so many little stupid details about the wedding. It was when the door opened, I saw all the people, I looked up, and ....there he was. He was waiting at the end of the aisle. My eyes met his and every worry just vanished instantly. It's like I wasn't alone anymore. Also, when we slow danced. He kept kissing me on the cheek & forehead, and held me tightly. I felt so loved.

Sitting at the stop light going to the motel and saying, You know what? We got married today! the wedding was so surreal that we both felt the first time we experienced it was when we watched the video the first time,.

The absolutely beautiful ceremony we had, concelebrated by three priests, one of whom is my husband's brother. That moment at the altar when his brother announced that we were husband and wife, was absolutely stunning. There's video capturing my reaction, as we exited the church; I was going down the stairs and exclaimed, "I can't believe that I'm finally Mrs. "Joe Cool" (not real name)" and I was just laughing with joy!

The second she appeared in the doorway to walk down the isle. A more angelic vision I could not imagine. I wanted to run down the isle and sweep her off her feet, and run away with her right then. She was/still is sooooo beautiful.

The look in my husband's eyes when we kissed as husband and wife for the first time. It was so intense that all of a sudden there was noone there but us. It was wonderful.
