The ideal religion, the ideal system of goverment, the ideal world......
Is there a chance that it will ever become reality?...
i DO believe so! With all my heart! What hope there is if we don't hope and believe that the ideal can ever become reallity?
Plus, i find the opposite opinions kind of pesimistic/negative...

That is a beautiful thought, but I don't think it will ever happen. People are way too divided, look how fiercely they argue on this Q&A board, that is how they feel, all over the place, lots of hate and ridicule. Soory, I am very upbeat, and have a sunny outlook on MY life, but as far as hope for the masses, no, not unless they make a whole lot of lifestyle changes, like at least TRYING to get along with one another.

Well, that depends. You may live to see your OWN ideal met, but everyone has their own opinion about what is ideal. I do think however, that someday...we'll HAVE to reach at least, a happy medium. If we continue the way we are, we'll either learn to cope or kill ourselves off. Personally, I don't think humans have de-evolved to the point where we'll destroy ourselves. I think we'll get to a point where we'll finally figure out that it isn't working, and we'll find a better way. Necessity is the mother of invention...and I think that applies to new and better ideas, too.

Seriously, not in our lifetime, or our great-great grand-children's lifetimes. It shall happen but not for a long time. It's just that human nature's drive to be independent and free to express whatever liberty they have, always turns to vice and license. An ideal world. I can only dream about it.

the ideal means perfection, if perfection existed then we wouldn`t hope for something better after we die. If perfection existed now, there is no reason for dieing nor for an afterlife...unfortunately the perfection is just and ideal, and it isn`t attainable in this world, so what we got is just hope that we`ll find it in the afterlife..

Your utopian vision is very appealing and of course who wouldn't want that.

However, many others in history have tried, and failed, to create such a world. Sometimes their efforts at creating an ideal government, ideal religion etc, have resulted in very ugly things indeed. Examples include Hitler's Germany, Stalin's Russia, Pol Pot's Cambodia, or lately, America's attempts at forcing "democracy" on other countries through the barrel of a gun.

The heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart. Human nature is basically selfish. Even Atheists would agree. "Be warned that if you wish, as I do, to build a society in which individuals cooperate generously and unselfishly towards a common good, you can expect little help from biological nature. Let us try to teach generosity and altruism, because we are born selfish." - Richard Dawkins, The Selfish Gene, 1976, p.3

This is a spiritual problem and it requires intervention from a spiritual power to fix it. As a Christian i believe that God is the one who can and will restore human nature to goodness and bring about the perfect world you long for. In Christian terminology, this perfect religion and perfect government is called “The Kingdom of God”. A Christian author wrote:

'The Saviour said, "Except a man be born from above," unless he shall receive a new heart, new desires, purposes, and motives, leading to a new life, "he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3. The idea that it is necessary only to develop the good that exists in man by nature, is a fatal deception. "The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." 1 Corinthians 2:14; John 3:7. Of Christ it is written, "In Him was life; and the life was the light of men"--the only "name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." John 1:4; Acts 4:12. ...

It is impossible for us, of ourselves, to escape from the pit of sin in which we are sunken. Our hearts are evil, and we cannot change them. "Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one." "The carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." Job 14:4; Romans 8:7. Education, culture, the exercise of the will, human effort, all have their proper sphere, but here they are powerless. They may produce an outward correctness of behaviour, but they cannot change the heart; they cannot purify the springs of life. There must be a power working from within, a new life from above, before men can be changed from sin to holiness. That power is Christ. His grace alone can quicken the lifeless faculties of the soul, and attract it to God, to holiness....

But in vain are men's dreams of progress, in vain all efforts for the uplifting of humanity, if they neglect the one Source of hope and help for the fallen race. "Every good gift and every perfect gift" (James 1:17) is from God. There is no true excellence of character apart from Him.'
-- Ellen White, Steps to Christ, Ch. 2

The Kingdom of God cannot be brought about by politics. That is why Jesus did not come as a great politician or as a revolutionary guerrilla. When a powerful politician asked him “Are you the king of the Jews?”, Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight” (John 18:33,36). Jesus sought to work towards a better world by changing the human heart from within.

It is over 2000 years since Jesus came to earth and the world is as bad as ever, but Jesus promised that he would one day come back and set up his perfect kingdom, on a new earth. And even now, he gives us the ability to live as citizens of his kingdom even amidst the problems of this world. If we will let him, he can change our hearts and fill us with his spirit so that we can be part of his kingdom.
