If you think your cat is lacking protein take her to the vet and feed her better food. Give her some wet food or fresh/canned meats.

Cats don't hunt for food most often, they hunt for pleasure. This can not be considered anything but cruel to the mouse, there is not certainty that the cat would kill it and if it did, the cat might not eat it. There is not a lot of meat on a mouse.

If this is real consider and not a sadistic fantasy, then a mouse is not the solution. Go get your cat fish based canned food.

Get him a more high quality food like Wellness, Nutro Max, Paul Newman's and other that can be found at gourmet pet stores and sometimes even Petco or Petsmart. Normal cat food is full of corn fillers, which are not good for your cat. So you could be right about being low on protein.
Eating a lot of mice, though will probably lead to tapeworms. How many mice do you have? Enough to feed your cat a mouse of two every day? Yikes!

I know this is their diet when they are farm cats or roam outside, but I would never think of feeding my cats mice.....yukkkkk. Once in a while I give my male cat some raw ground steak. I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but he really likes it.Better to feed a good quality cat food.

I guess so...but there would be a risk of the cat developing a disease from the mice if they were infected w/ something. We all know how many diseases those rodents can carry...
Even if you got feeder mice like the kind people feed to snakes there may be a problem...
Better to go to the butcher to get some raw meat for your cat...

I think you are best off just feeding your cat some dry and wet food. It will be fine. If you want your cat to eat mice, let it outside.

Buy cat food, has all the protein she needs, mice have too many bones, and if they're wild, could have diseases.

That's what they eat in the wild, its better than garbage. If you just need protein, get a high quality cat food. There is a type of cat food that is just raw meat it is fine for them.
And it is not the type of meat we eat that is beef eating beef eating chicken eating pig!!! EAT FREE RANGE GRAIN FED CHICKEN!!!

Dont hate me, I read this.

Sure. Used to feed my cat live ones sometimes. Just the let them keep their hunting skills.

But if its just for protein you should consult a vet.

Or fish??? Wouldn't that be better?
