Time is a good medicine for scars (usually 8 months to go away)

Chemical peels are an expensive and very effective way.

Tanning can hide scars temporarily.

Apply benzoyl peroxide (AKA clearacil or any acne cream) which will essentially increase skin turnover (so your skin will shed quickly and your scars will go away faster)

Someone told me that castor oil makes the scars less visible and not as dark!

Lots of moisturizer and vitamin E oil. You can find vitamin E oil in most health (food) stores. When using the oil, be sure to use just a little and rub it in really good.
