My stance is, I really don't know. I need to read more on it. In college some of my professors insisted Ms. Joan had auditory hallucinations, and I kept asking them how do they would know that.
Even then I wasn't too sure myself as I knew Ms. J was also fighting on the side of the Catholic Church in addition to France. I'll ask some of my religious studies constituents and find out more.

Anyway, good question.

OK, I'm not sure if the french had donuts at that time or not, but I don't think God asked Joan of Arc to give him a donut, since there is no hunger in Heaven, and God could create whatever he wanted...I'd say it was probably just a myth...but thats just my guess :)

i used to love the story about Joan
but as i grow older and more spiritual
i wonder why any God would tell someone to go out and fight
so i am thinking this was not divine at all

Joan of Arc was delusional. She was crazy, absolutely crazy. I guess that puts her in the same category as Georgie Bush. He hears G-d talking to him. Too bad we cannot get him declared crazy. They both have gotten alot of people killed because of their craziness.

Yes, she wouldn't be the first of many holy people who have had visions of the Lord ... this has not stopped after the bible. What I don't believe is Pat Roberston.
