I am 16 and go to an all girls high school, i have a really great bunch of friends just find it really hard to talk to boys and people i don't no that well, i always seem to act defensively towards those i dont no, i have never had a boyfriend or anything intimate and hate talking with mates about stuff like this as they are all really popular and attractive. I am quite a shy person around those i don't no so how can i improve my confidence etc...

Just start talking to random people at the store or at your local mall. By doing this youll get over that initial hurdle. Also remember that not everyone is out to get you, there ARE people out there who would genuinely be your friend if given the chance!! Good luck girl!!

Walk with your head up, look people in the eye when you talk to them or come across them, and smile.

well I feel the same way about girls. just try and try. it wont come to u in a week just keep trying until u can. good luck.
