I had my daughter's ears pierced when she was 10 months old. They say it is the best time to do it, they rarely play with them. I suggest getting earrings with the screw-on backs that way if she does play with them she will not lose the backs.

I got my daughters ears pierced at 6 months old, she didn't too seem too bothered by it of course she cried but 5 mins later she was dancing in the car! I think it hurts for that moment then it's nothing after it's over. Good luck!

i got my youngest ears pierced when she was 6 months old. I went to a place where there was 2 ladies that did piercings and they said if i was to hold her arms down then they would be able to do it at the same time instead of one ear at a time.. she cried when it happened but about 15 minutes later she forgot all about it!

My mom always was against piercing a child's ears at such a young age as she thought of it as abuse. personally, i don't feel that way and never really thought of it as bad at all. if you do want this done... go to somewhere PROFESSIONAL and just be sure to make sure everything they use is clean and sanitary. there is no other medical or harmful effects of piercing a baby's ears as compared to an older person's ears.

get them pierced because at her age ear piercings are cute but if you decide you dont want them pierced she will look beautiful anyway. {ask your mom} also when did you get your ears pierced? GET THEM PIERCED

What are you some kind of pedophile? Why would you do such a thing to a baby?

My advice is to call social services and hand over your child for adoption, explaining how you are not a fit parent.

just get them done if you want to.. she will cry, but have the person do them both at once... it is a little less tramatic. we waited till our daughter asked to get them done.. she is 6 now.. it was still tramatic but she loves them now

Wait until she is eighteen. Age one is way too young for a potentially harmful procedure.
