last year and this semester we lived together but no his best frend is going to be living with him. Whenever his bff is there, he always pays more attention to him and kind of ignores me, even though he doesn;t mean to. I dont want to get hurt by my boyfriend ignoring me or making me feel like second place to his bff, what can i do to not feel this way? is there anything i can tell myself or do so i do not feel hurt whenevr my boyfriend pays a little more attention to his bff than to me?

I don't think he ignores you. It's just that he feels secured with you and hence tries to make his friend more secured. Also just guess what his friend would be saying ... " Man she's with you all the time. Spend a lil time with me."
I too am a boy and this has happened to me toooo. It's just that we feel that you are already secured and so spend more time with others so that they don't feel offensive or left over. (To explain this more I have to take up a psychology course)

Not to worry unless he should suddenly turn gay - but seriously - men tend to bond, women tend to bond with members of their own sex. This is natural and nothing to worry about. When two men and their wife's or girls friends are out together the boys/men tend to hang to gether and same with the girls/women, unless they are just starting out in there relationship. We, as men, have a best friend before marriage, but after wards we tend to break a part due to leading different lives etc. So let us enjoy that special moment while we can. Make plans to go out where just the two of you can do things. That way he can have a roommate and still have times with you too. There are times when a guy just wants to be with his buds and time when he just wants to be with his girl.

Tell yourself that he has a right to a life apart from you and you should have one away from him with your own friends. You sound very posessive and clingy. Girlfriend, you need to give him some space...before you find yourself sleeping single in a double bed!! Find something to do with your time when he is hanging out with his friend.

just check on him a lot and have a lot of dates with him so he forgets all about his bff. You could even get him something and he will hang out wit you more

ok this is what i think i think you should tell him, he should understand that u feel like a third wheel and if you dont really want to b hang out with them and feel that way, go hang out with one of your friends. and then you 2 two have your own time together

yea, just grow up. the man has a life outside of you. If he really loves you he's not going anywhere and you bugging about him spending time with friends will only run him away. you cant and shouldnt monopolize his time

be a very close friend to his best friend. and ignore your boyfriend and only talk to his best friend. then your boyfriend will try to get your attention and automatically he will be jealous. also he will try to spend more time with you alone that you may not meet his best friend. good luck

If you feel that way then you should tell him. He might say how much he cares about you and tells you he will never do it again but, if he does it again I say dump him!
