Well, I am currently dating a guy that I was friends with for years. I guess the way we started dating was when I asked him if he could ever see us being together as more than friends. We started hanging out more, then one thing led to another...and things just happened. we have been together for over a year now. Just make sure that the feeling is mutual first. Remember though, if you 2 dated and broke up you may risk losing a good friend.

Don't ask. He doesn't feel the same way or he would've asked himself already.
A girl I was friends with once told me that she liked me as more than a friend. I was good with trying it and going out with her, but she said that I would've asked already if I felt the same way. She was right. I'll always wonder what might have been though.

This is the dumbest qestion on the face of the earth. If he is really a "Friend" then you should feel comfortable enough with him to just ask him out.

Just ask him. "Do you want to go out on a date"? Tell him that you like him in a different way. You should be kind of comfortable around him.

I would see if he has feelings for me.If he dose I would say that I feel the same way. If he don't like me Iwould still tell him how I feel.
