After months of just looking at each other, a guy I have been interested in finally said spoke to me. He asked what time a class was, however it was posted right there in front of us. Do I take this as he is interested? Should I persue anything? The only reason i'm asking is i'm afraid of the whole rejection thing. He could have a girlfriend for all I know.

Don't fear rejection. If you don't take risks in life, you'll never get anything worthwhile. Him asking you one question doesn't mean anything yet, it's not enough to tell you whether he's interested or not.

So go up to him and ask him if he wanted to have lunch together (if you're in high school) or go to a coffee shop (if you're in college). Ask him about his interests, etc. Keep it light, get to know him, it'll work itself out from there.

And if he says "no, I can't", it's no big deal either, don't be offended. Not every person you meet and think is goodlooking is a potential boyfriend. Even if you get rejected now because he's with someone, at least he'll know you're interested and things might happen later.

I know you are a girl and traditionally guys should ask a girl out, but there's no reason to wait around any longer. I mean it's been a couple of months already... Plus, if you ask him to join you for lunch or grab a cup of coffee, it's not really a date, so you're not breaking any rules :O)

One more thing, be confident. Think about all of the qualities you have, your character, your looks, etc. Realize that a guy should be happy to be with you. What I'm saying is don't become all absorbed into yourself, but be confident. It will attract guys like a magnet.

Good luck, and don't be afraid of rejections. They are a part of life, they are not personally directed at you. And you'll never find the right person if you don't keep trying.

What he has today does not mean he will have it tomorrow. It wouldn't hurt to show a little interest.

uuummmmm he could be interested, or he could be really dumb... there really isn't a whole lot you can do about it, if you see an opportunity to flirt, do it, just, talk to him, the best relationships stem from friendships....

Don't be afraid... he is either trying to strike conversation with you... or he is dumb. Either way it should work out.
