Neither. Church for the most part is a bit dull and boring. I am not forced, but know that it is the will of the Father that I go, so I do. Sometimes I like to be there, and most times I don't. I am working on it though.

I wasn't crazy about it when I was young (13-20)
Later found a Church that I liked, now have found a Church home that I love. Sometimes it takes a little searching.
It's much different than my parents Church was, music is great, people of all ages and backgrounds.

Hi. Happy Sabbath. As an adult, I neither like nor accept attempts to be forced to do anything. That's a form of slavery, to me. Anyway, I don't like to be forced to attend church. We should give freely. However, there is a Bible verse that states ...to obey is better than sacrifice... (I missed church today; sad to say.) Take care.

When I was a kid, I liked to go to church. Now as an adult and Muslim, I like to go to Mosque, sometimes. Prayer at home or on walks or driving (eyes open, now!) helps us in our lives. We don't need to be in a specific place for God to hear us, just a specific state of mind for us to hear Him.

I go because I do enjoy and look forward to it.....there are many churches that are not inviting....it took me many years to find the one I go to....when I was younger I did not like to go.....I am now nearing 50 and I do enjoy it and am finally making sense of things that I mocked for many years...

I guess you could say that my parents "forced" me to go when I was little, but I've enjoyed going to church as long as I can remember. I even look forward to it.
I'm sorry you don't enjoy it.
