Careers suited to a degree in Criminal Justice include, law enforcement (at the local, state, or federal level), corrections, probation and parole, juvenile officer, corporate security, or social work, as well as academic jobs such as criminologist, professor, and penologist.
HOWEVER, it should be noted that for law enforcement careers, a CJ degree is NOT necessary. If a degree is required, or desired to increase your resume, any bachelor's degree from an accredited institution will work as well as a CJ degree. Get a degree in something that interests you, even if it's outside the field.
