I am Wiccan, I celebrate Yule, Winter solstice. December 25 is pagan not Christian. Why do Christians insist it is their holiday when the bible and God gives specific commands to not celebrate the days of pagans and not to take them for God?
The bible evens say to not learn the ways of the pagan. The tree, holly, mislte toe, Santa, giving of gifts, everything about Christmas is pagan. Christians are just as pagan as I am and do not even know it

What in the world does being religious have to do with celebrating Xmas, or Christmas?
Have you paid any attention at all to the world around you?

I celebrate Xmas, but not Christmas.
Because of course I enjoy getting a break from work, going to family gatherings, and the whole giving and receiving gifts thing.
But the religious aspect is completely lost on me. I don't give a crap about Baby Jesus, just give me a hefty shot of rum in my eggnog and light up the tree!

In reality Christmas has very little to do with religion, its a festival that has been comandeered by christianity as a handy date, it was being celebrated long before Jesus was born and he wasn't even born in December. So non religious have just as much right to have a celebration as the self-righteous, don't see the bible telling you to exchange pressies and write to Santa?

That would make sense, being as Christmas is such a commercial and ubiquitous holiday. Non religious ppl celebrate the SECULAR aspects of Christmas.

I am an atheist, but of course I celebrate christmas. The idea of celebrating everything good, family, freinds, etc, is not exclusive to believers in non-existent gods
