when i click on the microsoft internet explorer icon the site does not open.it just freeses.

If you really want it, I'd try reinstalling it.
However, it seems that you're accessing the internet just fine, so I'd say you don't need it.

Sounds like you got a slow computer. is it an old one? if so it's just taking some time to open up, be patient.
If you're using something that's less than 5 years old, then:
- try opening other programs, if they're fast then you know it's a problem with IE, not your whole system.
- If opening other programs is slow, then run an antivirus and antispyware program to search for viruses
- If opening other programs is fast, then restart your computer and contact a professional.

Stop using IE, use Mozilla Firefox 2.0
