I usually do not disclose that information to everyone because there is still ignorance and misunderstanding about mental illness i don't choose to be stereotyped by my illness and alot of the times when i have disclosed this info i am treated differently or totally ignored and made fun of.

I really don't want to admit that I have a mental problem.
It is likely that 9 out of 10 people wouldn't.
Right now I'm getting disability from social security, so yeah now I believe that I have one.
I have schizoaffective bipolar type I.

If you're in treatment, it's easier to talk about it. People in DENIAL of their illnesses usually keep mum about it.

i have depression and i have ocd and i have bpd. I don't like admiting it though.
