I suppose you would have to be prepared for people comments and disapproval of the situation but if you can both deal with the and are both happy then why not indeed. Although if having children is on the cards consider that when your child is 20 years old you (assuming it's you) would be 70. That needs careful thought for the childrens sake as well of course.
