My best male friend swore off sex 2 years ago, and i could almost said he hasn't had it, but can this really happen?
Isn't it bad for the prostate or something? Men, input here!

He could have meant that he hasn't had sexual relations, but that doesn't mean necessarily that he hasn't had a sexual release. In order words he could be masturbating or having wet dreams. You, right a man has to have some release or it can cause problems. If they don't they get what is often called "Blue Balls" which is causes extreme pain in the testicles. But to answer your question about not having sex, if referring to sexual relations with another person, yes he could. I just saw the other day on Montel Williams Show on TV, just that question. They had several married couples who do not have sexual relations, just a romantic relationship.
Both the woman and the man said that they didn't want to have sex and were very happy in their marriages. It doesn't happen very often, but it is possible. I had a cousin who was going to be a priest and left the seminary when it came time to take his vows. He has led a solidary life and is Asexual, which is what they call a person who doesn't want to have sexual relations with an other person.

I went without sex for the first umpteen years of my life before my first time, so how bad can two years be? Besides, just because he's not having intercourse doesn't mean he's not having sex. He still has his five fingered friend.

It is definitely bad for a man to go that long without ejaculating. Hopefully he masturbated or had wet dreams during that time. I was celebate for a year after a break-up, but I jerked off every chance I had.

Anyone can go without sex. You don't HAVE to have sex. There have been plenty of people that went their entire life without sex! Sex is not an uncontrolable urge ya know!
