Cars have been around since the very late 1800's, so that is more than 100 years.

More than 100 years ago. The 1st "car" was built in the 1860s. The 1st modern car was built by Karl Benz (Mercedes Benz) in 1886.

Yes, the early early ford models existed.
I remember somewhat around 1901
or 1910 that they were invented.

Actually they are right with the Mercedes thing.

But ford was the major manufacturer at that time.
