I suppose you're right. People who invented religion had better be hoping it's all true (which it isn't IMO).

I read a story once that described the building of ancient Babylon tower. As a twist to the one we have all learned, the people were actually getting to close to knowing the truth, that the god (Jehovah/Yahweh) was not the creator so he (Jehovah/Yahweh) destroyed the tower and scattered all languages and religions, he is actually the god of war, which is why he violates one of the seven deadly sins in the 2nd commandment by saying I am a jealous god.
But 7 of the ten commandments are true among all religions, the only three that differ are the first three in Christianity.
I believe people should stop trying to label their beliefs and seek knowledge of everything. Do not look for differences but similarities and build on them. All religions would be more united Then we all shall be closer to the creation and the creator.
