I have been skating every day for two weeks and I am still getting bruises and blisters on my toes and ankles. The boots were professionally fit, so I know that they are they right size. I am just having trouble breaking them in.

i got the ankles of my skates punched out at the abklebones...it worked well...just ask at your local skates shop...im not sure what tool they use.

Hockey players sometimes will put their new skates on and lace them tightly. Then, they'll put their feet into a bathtub. They'll spend the night in them and the skates will then conform to their feet.
It would seem to work with many types of leather footgear.

u can put a towel over them and hammer them or run them over w/ a car. it sounds wierd but it works. or u can wear them and bend ur knees and keep ur heels on the ground. u can also jump on them but not the brown part just the leather. wear them around in ur house w/ ur blade guards and keep them on for like 1 and a half hours. it should work. when i got my skates, they were used but i still had to break them in. i did all of the things i'm said except for run them over. even the first time i wore them, i never got blisters. i'm guessing urs is EXTREMELY stiff. just do what i said and it should work. it really worked for me and it should for u.

well what i did for my second pair of skates is do swizzles and bending my knees so it bend my ankles witch bents the skate
or their are some cool ones where you can stick in the oven or microwave (and its a heat mold ) so then you just put your skate on for a few minutes!: )

you have to wear them at home and walk around with them. wearing wet socks while wearing them at home might help it mold into the shape of your foot. it will take time. even after i broke in my skates, i got a huge bump on my ankle and it turned out to be a tendon out of the shaft.

Like they say progress is a slow process. If they fit correctly as you state(which based on your issues they sound like they don't)it will just take time for it to really break in. But remember just because something was done professional it doesn't mean it was done correctly.

Try heating them up in the oven a little bit so that the leather is very warm, then lace them up quickly and wear them until they cool.

Wear them around the house, and be patient! It may take a while to break them in.
