First off you really need to get an antibiotic if it is that infected. Unfortunately, I have experience with this. This is what I did in addition to getting the medicine. I had to clean off all the crust stuff (use a warm washcloth to loosen it more easily) then you will have to take peroxide (yes it will probably sting) and put on the front and back of the ear where the hole is. You should also try if possible to take an earring and put some peroxide on the post and try to get the peroxide inside the hole. Don't leave the earring in. Then after you have done these things. I would take another clean earring and put some antibiotic cream on the post and put that into the hole. Don't leave the earring in again. If not possible to put an earring in then clean the ear as well as you can and put the antibiotic cream on the front and back of the ear until it feels better and you can do the above. Good luck.

Put some hydrogen peroxide on a qtip or cotton ball and soak your earlobe a few times a day.

Make sure you are wearing earrings without nickel in them. This will cause an allergic reaction and on to an infection.

oh boy, take the earring out and clean it with peroxide or a gentle cleaner put neosporin on it or better antibiotic cream if you have it. clean he earring really good put the anibiotic cream on the stem and re-insert. this is going to hurt big time, but it will close if you don't if it is really bad mayby a dr. should look at it or maymy you are allergic to the earring you are using they sell earrings called sensitive ears at walmart seems to work better than real gold~

wear a small gold hoop, not a post so that air can circulate around it better.
use peroxide on it several times a day
also use bacitracin or neosporin or zinc cream or calendula ointment on it for a few days
it should clear up nicely

take the earring out. use alcohol on it, keep it clean, don't put any earrings in it. clean your earrings with the alcohol(the post of the earring that is) oh and try to use earrings that are hypo allergenic and won't cause irritations.

It's an infection and that always means that you must see your doctor.

IF it's so bad that you say we don't want to know about it, then don't wait for an appt - get to an ER. No excuses, no arguements and no delays.
