i have a hideous zit on my face, and its under my skin so it wont go away and there is this big red mark in the middle of my forehead. Please help me! i have a date in two days and i dont want to look like a dork. what will get rid of the redness if nothing else??

Whatever you do, don't irritate the area by constantly rubbing or pressing it. Acne that is under the skin is difficult to eliminate, but easier to cover with make-up. If this acne seems to not only be red, but also painful and firm, be careful not try rubbing it out of existence, which will just worsen the problem. I would suggest using a pretty mild cleaner on it, being sure to massage the facial cleaner in gently and patting dry. Monitor this problem because there are some forms of acne, especially under-the-skin acne that can become more serious. Some treatments also counteract and shrink the size of the red area very quickly. Hope this helps!

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then fifteen times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

You could try to put make up on it to get rid of the redness..
What I do, if I know I'm gonna be in public and want my skin to be clear, is tan in a tanning bed a little longer than what I should. My skin is extra clear if I get a little burned. .
You can google quick acne remedies or something along that line that may give you a lot of options!

For a cheap but fast way get clearasil ultra(at walmart or drug store) but you must use 3 dyas in a row to quickly remove the zits or for an expensive but affective use proactiv.

Neutogena (I hope I spelled that right) has a product called Rapid Clear, or something like that, it comes in an oragne box, and it really does work, put it on at night and your zit should go down.
