Acetaminophen, the max. dosage you can take in a day is 4grams. I take narcotic pain pills with acetaminophen in them and I've been told by both my doctor and pharmacist that once you exceed 4 grams it can be toxic to your liver. Now, if you're not living with chronic pain, I'm not sure you should take that much. If you're taking it for just aches and minor pains, I wouldn't recommend even that much.

Not knowing a persons body weight, age etc this is impossible to answer. There is the typical dose but if this person is young and small this person will not take as much as a bigger person. I take 1200-2400 MG of ibuprofen a day.
This is to much for some, others it is nothing. On the back of over the counter bottles it will say all the side effects from this or that. It is common for people to take to much of a over the counter medication.
