No that is not true. PokerStars is the best online poker site there is. They frequently have over 100,000 players online at the same time.
Anyone that tells you the site is rigged or that they some how fix the cards so that a big chip stack does well is just retarded. The cards are as random as any real life casino. Why would a site as big as this one risk their entire business to rig the games? They make enough money straight up.

Pokerstars is a very reputable site. Whoever told you they "favor" anyone was probably just upset at busting out of a tournament to the chip leader. They offer a very good variety of buy-ins for their tournaments, run tournaments consistently any time of day, and offer a very nice ability to make deals at the final table, just as you would in a brick and mortar tourny. For these reasons as well as some other, a multitude of professional poker players choose pokerstars as one of if not their favorite poker site. I personally play at UltimateBet, Full Tilt Poker, and PokerStars, and enjoy all of these sites. I would recommend any of these sites as a good place to enjoy a game of poker.

pokerstars is a very good poker site. They do not favor anyone at the table. As with any big poker site there are alot of fish. The bigger the site, the more fish. I don't limit myself with just one site. I play alot online. Try signing up at a few at http://upnorthbetting.net/ and find out which players play your style of poker. Players style and play are different depending on time of day, and site.
Good Luck and Have Fun!!!

I hear from many of the people that I play with online that it is pretty good. They say they are able to come away with a lot of money because some of the players are pretty loose. Honestly I play on Full Tilt. They a lot of different types of poker games that a lot of sites don't. Tournaments are around the clock and are of all different price ranges. But anyways I have hear from many people that it is a decent place to play.

LMFAO, PokerStars does not rig the cards. In my experience the chip leader loses more often because they get too confident.

I prefer Mayagaming.com, as I have lost twice on pokerstars when someone beat me with a HIGHER str8 flush. What are the odds of that?!
