Some possible solutions a colorist might try are: a bleach wash and recolor, hi-lighting to "weed out" the darker color, or you may be advised to do deep conditioning treatments over the course of several weeks to help fade the existing color and strengthen your hair before a correction can be attempted

If you dye your hair black and you want it out of your hair quickly you will need to go to a hair colorist. They can do what's called a corrective coloring and pull the color from your hair. If you are looking for a really light color though like blonde don't get your hopes up. Generally they will only bring your shade as far as a red because of the trauma your hair goes through with all of the processing.

If you don't mind waiting it out you can let your hair grow out but it will look pretty gangly once the roots start showing...

Good luck!

well if you are trying to dye it a lighter colour and you have long hair don't get it done professionally it'll cost around 60 to 80 dollars. Just buy like two or three bottle of your wanted hair colour two shades above your wanted colour. I had my hair professionaly dye black, and it was horrible, they were going to charge me around 65 dollars to get it back to blonde, my natural colour. I went home and bleach it and then I dye it golden blonde, it cost me about 15 bucks
