yes, dark chocolate has more caffeine but it has less sugar. chocolate is naturally caffeinated and dark chocolate is more concentrated than milk-chocolate. You probably have a low tolerance for caffeine which might explain why you had trouble going to sleep after eating it.

I am Adventist. There have been times as long as a year at a time that I have been vegetarian. Not for the religion but because I thought it was healthy. I do not fit into your no dark meat, no milk no sugar category. I don't think 1/2 the church do. Those SDA's who do have really taken being healthy to heart. One of my Adventist friends really rethought her diet when her son became diabetic type 1. She changed the whole family's diet to suit his needs. But she has always followed advise from the doctor she went to books that taught Old Testament diet principles and sought wisdom from Back to Eden type advise. She is an awesome cook, wonderful foods. She enjoyed dropping like 4 dress sizes because of the change. However many Adventist are not like her. Some are, not me. Although I can defend a vegetarian diet because I know its great.

No. It was probably the sugar rush.

All the chocolate is the same. The thing is, you've added MILK to the one, nothing to the other.
