I'm not necessarily talking about remaining a virgin, but I'm wondering if there are men in their 30's and 40's who hope to have something more meaningful than casual sex, and if they think there is something worth waiting for.

I don't know about men in their 40's but I do know some men in their 20's who are, and you would think that they are really "churchy" but they are not, they are more concerned about their future, and destroying it with unwanted children, being saddled with child support when they are just starting their lives. I am very proud of these young men, they are just acquaintances, not family to me.
Edit, these young men are NOT living with their parents, they are out on their own, working for a living.

As a general rule Mormon men fall into both catagories, that of wanting something more than just casual sex, and remaining a virgin until marriage. I'm sure there are Mormon men who do not fall into this category, and I'm sure there are men who are not Mormon who do as well.

They're needles in haystacks, but yes they exist. I'm dating one now. He's in his late 30's, as am I. We decided from our first date on that no matter where our relationship went, no sex would be involved until we were married.
It is a hard road to take because this man is sexy as hell, but I believe if I ever do become him wife, I will be making up for lost time and enjoying every minute of it!

I sure there are a few. I think casual sex is dangerous, but I certainly didn't wait till I got married either.

I am leading a fund drive to gather hot young female volunteers to cure this horrible debilitating ailment. These poor guys deserve so much more out of life..!!!!

Yes indeed! It is the most refreshing thing to know that there are men committed to sexual purity until marriage. They apparently understand the gift is for giving to one special person.
