Fornication, which means sex between people who are not married to anyone at all (as opposed to adultry, which is having sex with someone other than the spouse to whom you are already married).

I thought governments were set up to keep society in a functioning order, rather than being the metaphorical parent of the people. It's the people who establish law, rights, etc. Governments were established to serve the people. A government can't function without the people. People can function without a government. It would be chaotic anarchy, but it's possible. Maybe people should realize this? And I suggest that you take a look at international law. There are laws, protocol, and civil rights granted to individuals which span the 192 nations of the UN.

Adultery does not mean "sex between unmarried people". It means "sex with a married person".
Fornication means "any illegal sexual activity". Not "sex between unmarried people". And as stated in the Bible, God does not find sex between two unmarried people being illegal.

fornication
Fornication, by definition, is the act of having sex when one is unmarried. Adultery, however, is the act of having sex when one is married with someone other than one's spouse.

adulteries and fornications are basically the same thing. You can compare these words with idolatries.
