Just one extra dry foot?

I'd say cream, but before you put any cream on them, buy one of the foot sanders that you can get from Target or any place like that. NOT a pumice stone, as that doesn't really do much for really dry feet. After you use that, then you might try one of the creams available.

Ulta has a good selection of this type of thing.

In early adulthood, skin cells begin to gradually succumb to the effects of age, becoming more porous and less elastic. When a moisturizer is applied, it hydrates the cells, but then the cells quickly lose that moisture. Dry cracking heels (xeorosis) is a condition of thickening and fissuring (cracking of the bottom part of the heels). In some cases the fissures can be quite deep, but difficult to see because of the dry skin built up around it. Usually the recommended course of action is to pumice off the dry, dead skin and use a combination of foot baths, lotions and foot pads to heal the fissures.

One of the most effective of these natural substances is unrefined shea butter. Shea butter is a powerful softening agent with a fast absorption rate, able to penetrate the skin’s layers.

I recommend Mary Kay's Satin Hands Pampering Set. It works wonders on dry, cracked hands, feet, and any other area of the body that needs help! The set sells for $30 and smells soooo good - like a peach smoothie!

Feel better! :-)

You can get a good body butter (better than lotion) from any skin care store. Bath and Body Works has some great creams and butters. Exfoliate in the shower and apply one "coat" before you get dressed, and one after. Body butter is the same consistency as regular butter, but it isn't oil-based. Also, you could get a body oil-it not only hydrates, but softens your skin.

My Mom had the same problem. After her shower at night, she would rub her dogs down with vaseline, put a plastic shopping bag on her feet, tie it up and go to bed. When she woke up her feet were all soft and smooth..THANK GOD !!!!

You want them to look good too, if you can, try to get pedicures every other week..
