You take your dog to the vet and get a solution to stick in their ear. Spend the money! Otherwise the dogs ears will turn into cauliflower after they swell up with blood from the damage.

Earmites aren't common in dogs so unless your dog has actually been diagnosed with earmites by a vet then don't treat with anything. If indeed your dog does have mites then the vet will give you proper treatment. In all likelyhood the dog has an ear infection or allergic reaction to something that is causing ear problems..take her to the vet to get a correct diagnosis...Do NOT use ANY OTC products you could very well cause a more serious problem including deafness.

For a mild case I use the HARTZ brand that the sell in just about every WALMART, and just keep your dog's ears as dry as possible, moisture is an ear mites best friend. For a more severe problem see your vet.

You need to see your vet to get a solution that you can apply 2-3 times (in the ear) a day for a week or two.

Otomax ear mite medication is what we use at our vet clinic. That plus cleaning of the ear with a moist cotton ball, then apply the medication.

You have to get the medication for ear mites from your veterinarian, because it is a perscription medication.
