no way around it..Do not starve yourself..then your body burns up muscle ..not fat This is the best way, not necessarily the fastest...it takes alot of work and willpower...good luck

Eat right and exercise. There is no way around it. Just try to make sure you use more calories than you take it. You should try to lose no more than a pound a week, and there are 3,500 hundred calories in a pound of fat, so with a combination of smaller portions and exercise everyday, you will want to burn 700 more calories than you take in for five days and rest the other two, eating the same amount of calories as your body needs a day (usually around 2,000 for most people) so your caloric balance is zero. Also drink plenty of water and eat foods rich in fiber to help feel full.

There is no quickest AND best way.
The quickest way is to starve yourself, by not eating (much). Note: this will kill you eventually, but you'll weigh less when you go.
The best way is to permanently alter your diet from large/unhealthy to moderate/healthy, and get plenty of exercise, for the rest of your life.

Eat 5 times daily and the portions should not be bigger than your fist. Drink 8 x 8oz. of water or green tea.

take what you think you can eat, put half back in the pot, walk 5 miles every day, and stay away from fast food joints. Oh yeah, and don'tforget your 3 glasses of milk daily
