I get this sharp pain the the back of my head when ever I look up and to the right, sometimes just when I look to the right... with my eyes not my neck. The pain seems to shoot through my right eye to the back of my head.. on the right side. I was wondering if anyone knows what could cause this and how to get rid of it. The severe pain is only when I look in those directions, but a very minor pain continues after the initial pain is gone.

I am not a doctor, but this may be some kind of pinched nerve. I would definitely consult a doctor to find out if it persists.

I hope you find out, because I have the same problem and just recently had a cat scan done. To my relief, no tumors, but would love to know what is causing it. If you haven't had your head checked yet, please do so. Good luck!
